The view as we left NZ, Nelson, Wellington and head across the Tasman.
For the locals that’s The Honest Lawyer at Monaco.
Below are the Marlborough Sounds on the way to Wellington.

Good bye NZ ... we’ll be back tho!
Oh yes the Lime scooters are also over here, people riding the footpaths and malls (outside) at fast speeds with no helmets.
This is Andy who took the video walk class, I was the only attendee so we had some fun out in Post Office Square using a Osmo Mobile 2 handheld gimbal. Ps you may notice my hair has gone as a funny colour ...I don’t know how that happened! More about this later!
Oh Oh! .... here comes a well dressed office lady....
I interact ...she interacts back!
Not a word spoken .......
The result .... Magic!
The day before I somehow got into a barber’s seat.....
This is the pump that makes a ticking noise when going, and boy does it put out some heat!
I’ve since added sealer around the exposed plywood and also screwed on those little sticky cable tie holders.

We spent a week in North Lakes preparing the caravan and our tow vehicle the 2014 Ford Ranger, which from now on is to be called the “Two Old Farts” machine. I did also spend quite a bit of time at the Apple store in the city taking free workshops (5 in one day).

There is a walkway over the busy road, people are knocking off for the day, a perfect opportunity for clown interactions.
I started quite quiet.....nobody complained, so I stepped it up a few gears.

I also did an art drawing class in Procreate at the Apple store.... I drew the teacher and he drew me. This is not a finished piece as we only had an hour including instructions.

We installed the Chinese Diesel heater in two half days, three blokes going for it big time!

We also straightened the exhaust pipe so it has steady fall to its exit.
The 10 litre diesel tank mounted behind the jerry can holder is for the heater fuel. It can’t go in the jerry can holder as that’s for water only.
Nick & Steve did a superb job.
This is the stone guard

Looks about the right height. We also got an extension welded to the exhaust so the heat wouldn’t melt the guard!
A lot has happened in one week now we’re almost ready to hit the one road and heading for the first caravan service in Bundaberg.
It’s all go in Australia Mate!
Cheers Stay safe and free!
Jimu & Christine.
G'day Jimu - enjoy the journey - atm we are in Bourke and stsrting to travel back to the Sunshine Coast via Toowoomba - looks like you will be a lot further north. Please remember that if you end up south and on the coast you are most welcome to sample some hospitality at Crescent Head......
